William Country ( 2009 )
Total/Drama   Kruzi-Raiting: one-of-a-kind

This is a gay love story taking place in a Total Drama Alternate Universe.
It follows our main character, Cody, going to a Total Drama Camp.
There he meets Joshua, a fellow L.A guy, and they instantly hit it off.

It doesn't take long for those two to engage in intense ear licking and more.
For the yaoi fans out there, I can promise you that this is a regular occurrence.

It has a soundtrack like no other, with works like Ne-Yo's "Closer", ATCs " I'm In Heaven When You Kiss Me" and many more popular bops from that time.

The strange visuals, flashing graphics, bizzare movements and unique choice in sound-effects makes this a surreal dream experience.
Despite that, this was made with intention, dedication and dare I say: Love.
Without spoiling, the ending took me by surprise. Its a parallel to the start, it's tragedy,
It's a Total Drama.

Some may say the movie is crude, bad, or low effort.
Then I pose this question:
Have you ever made an animated movie spanning 2 hours?
I for one have not.
The fact that art was made, a story was told and hearts where touched leaves me in awe and wonder.

Tvtropes.org surprisingly has a lot of details about behind the scenes, did you know this was considered lost media at one point?
I still feel a lot of the pieces are missing, and I wonder:
Will we ever get the full picture of Hijotees William Country?

I don't know if its better to live with the mystery, or find out the truth.
This has made a lasting impact on me, I just don't think I'll ever stop thinking about this Fan Film...And I just can't pull myself away. Under a spell, I can't break. I just can't stop, I just can't stop, I just can't stop, I just can't stop ,and I just can't bring myself, no way, but I don't want to escape, I just can't stop, I just can't stop, I just can't stop, I just can't stop, I just can't stop...............

Memories: Magnetic Rose ( 1995 )
Sci-Fi/Drama   Kruzi-Raiting: Favorite Movie

I'm unsure how many times I've watched this 45 minute movie, but I am not kidding when I say I'm obsessed with it. The story, the animation, the backgrounds, it shakes me to my very core and I love it. It's a piece that motivates me and inspires me to keep working on my art, and perhaps one day I'll be able to make something that's half as good as it

Dissecting the backgrounds is something I enjoy in particular, trying to figure out: "How did they do that?" ( As of writing, I have not come to a conclusion )

Joshua ( 2006 )
Horror   Kruzi-Raiting: -and the baby was raised as the ultimate evil

When browsing a record store in Omaha Nebraska, I got drawn to the DVDs that were being sold for like, 1$. This is where I found 'Joshua'
I was delighted to discover that it was as campy as the cover suggested.
The overall vibes of it was very appealing to me, and very American. I think watching it on an old monitor would enhance the viewing experience.

Anyway, it's thanks to Joshie I've started to collect random, and usually cheap, DVDs. Sometimes I strike gold (like in this case), but not always.
I love you, campy horror, never change.

Who Framed Roger Rabbit ( 1988 )
Parody/Comedy/Crime   Kruzi-Raiting: It's a classic!

It's cool to see toons interact with reality. I can appriciate the technical work put into the movie to have it all work.

I played 'ToonTown' at the same time of having watched the movie, and made connections with whats in the movie with whats in the game.
For a kid, that was the most brilliant thing I'd ever connect in my little head,
but anyhoo-

Thank you mister Richard Williams and all of the animators for the fantastic work.

Mind Game ( 2004 )
Comedy/Drama   Kruzi-Raiting: Hahaha wooah!

When I first became aware of 'Mind Game', I thought it was a new, up and coming movie, ive never seen anything quite like it before! I felt it managed to exaggerate Living into such measures that it went from being confusing, to strange, to feeling normal, but then confusing again, but such is Life :o)?

If you are a fan of animation, this could be a highly entertaining watch from just the visuals alone.
